nunney-cattail-cat-basket
Nunney Woven Cattail Cat Basket for Indoor Cats with Carry Handles

Cats deserve a natural resting spot. The Nunney Woven Cattail Cat Basket from The Fernby is woven by hand from natural cattail plant fibre, creating a breathable, open structure that stays cool in summer and snug in winter. The round shape with raised sides gives a cat a sense of enclosure without restricting movement, and a sturdy wooden rim at the base keeps the basket stable on any surface.

The woven surface does not trap pet hair, so a quick rinse is all it takes to keep things clean. Double carry handles on the sides make the Nunney easy to move from room to room, following the sunshine or the family. It comes with or without a soft fabric mat insert, depending on whether a cat prefers a cushioned interior or the natural weave. The simple design fits into any living space without looking out of place.

Three sizes suit different cats and small dogs. Small measures 35cm across and suits pets up to 4kg, medium is 42cm for pets up to 7.5kg, and large is 48cm for pets up to 12.5kg. Pick the size that gives enough room to curl up or stretch out. Always supervise pets during use and check the product regularly for wear, including loose or chewed fibres.

Size Chart

Size

Diameter

Suits pets up to

S

35cm

4kg

M

42cm

7.5kg

L

48cm

12.5kg

Measure the pet and compare against the chart before ordering; size up if between sizes.

Materials

Hand woven natural cattail plant fibre with a wooden base rim; optional soft fabric mat insert.

Sizes: S (35cm), M (42cm) and L (48cm)

Style: with or without soft fabric mat

Breathable open weave stays cool in summer and snug in winter

Sturdy wooden rim keeps the basket stable

Double carry handles

Does not trap hair; rinse to clean

Always supervise pets during use and check the weave for loose fibres

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1019/4832/6180/files/hf_20260920_204913_64cec3c4-24cb-42e5-9936-e158b939089b.png?v=1789938466
